Analog photography // Faroe Islands // 2016
The Faroese have the saying, "wise are the eye of the traveller". During a research trip for a feature film script, I took portraits of the people who opened their lives to us. We visited them at their homes or work places, and were met with incredible kindness and self-made rhubarb jam. In a land of fog and clouds, they were my silver lining and deeply touched my heart. The story I was looking for crept into my mind like the fog: all of a sudden, I was surrounded by it.
